Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province announced the list of key varieties (third batch) in the biopharmaceutical industry chain in Hunan Province, and the exclusive variety Wuwei Anshen Granules of Tat Ka Wai Hong Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tat Ka Wai Hong, was selected. Previously, Tat Ka Wai Hong’s key products, Xiaojianzhong Granules, Naodesheng Pills, Shujin Huoxue Capsules, and Qingre Sanjie Capsules, have all been selected.
According to the “Cultivation Measures for Key Varieties of the Biomedical Industry Chain in Hunan Province”, Hunan Province will select and recognize about 40 key varieties of the biopharmaceutical industry chain every year, focusing on provincial products with innovation, uniqueness, growth potential, import substitutability, leading key technologies, large market demand, good development foundation, and a certain scale and market share.
Wuwei Anshen Granules are based on the Han Dynasty medical saint Zhang Zhongjing’s “Gan Mai Da Zao Tang”, adding extracts of kudzu root and ginkgo leaves. Kudzu root produces fluids and relieves irritability, while ginkgo leaves increase cerebral blood supply, improve cerebral microcirculation, and protect cardiovascular and cerebrovascular function.
