To establish a new platform for non-public enterprises in Xiangjiang New Area to expand overseas markets and share overseas experience, the United Front Work Department (Mass Organizations Work Department) of Xiangjiang New Area organized the “Accompanying Each Other, Leading Overseas” Fourth Group Overseas Conference on the afternoon of December 19, 2024. The event was successfully held at the headquarters of Tat Ka Wai Hong Pharmaceutical Group.

The conference was chaired by Zhang Liu, Minister of the United Front Work Department (Mass Organizations Work Department) of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area and Member of the Standing Committee of the Yue Lu District Committee. Key attendees included Hu Songqiang, Director of the Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, Tang Binghua, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment and Trade Division of the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and Xie Jun, Vice Chairman of the YueLu District CPPCC, Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and President of the General Chamber of Commerce.
Executives from several well-known companies, including Gold Cup Electric Apparatus, Hunan Boshen Industrial Group, Hunan Huazi Holding Group Company, Hunan Red Solar New Energy Science and Technology Limited Company, and SPON Communications Company, exchanged insights on overseas ventures and explored in-depth strategies for expanding into international markets.
Hushengli, President of Tat Ka Wai Hong Pharmaceutical Group, along with Vice President O Zhizhen, Board Secretary Jiang Xi, General Manager of the International Business Department Mikko, Deputy General Manager Lin Qi, and Deputy General Manager of Hunan Tat Ka Wai Hong Pharmaceutical Marketing Co., Ltd., Chen Xiangrong, participated in the discussion.
Minister Zhang Liu emphasized the purpose and significance of this event, expressing hope that enterprises will strengthen communication, empower each other, and accelerate their pace of expanding into international markets.
Ms. Zhang Jing, Executive Vice President of Hunan Boshen Industrial Group Co., Ltd., delivered the opening speech, sharing the company’s valuable experiences and significant achievements in expanding into international markets.
President Hu Shengli of Tat Ka Wai Hong Pharmaceutical Group introduced the company’s overseas strategy and plans. She shared that Tat Ka Wai Hong has established an International Business Department and Tat Ka Wai Hong Pharmaceutical (Hong Kong) Company. Three proprietary products—Xiao Jian Zhong Granules, Wu Wei An Shen Granules, and Liu Wei Di Huang Capsules—have already been registered in Hong Kong, marking significant progress in entering the Hong Kong and Macau markets. The company aims to use Hong Kong and Macau as a springboard to open the Southeast Asian market.
Currently, the company has joined the China United Nations Procurement Promotion Association, becoming a UN procurement supplier. Tat Ka Wai Hong is committed to building a comprehensive foreign trade platform to help more “Hunan products” reach international markets.
Participating enterprises enthusiastically shared their experiences and insights on expanding overseas, analyzed market opportunities, discussed various risks, and provided recommendations. Together, they explored the best paths for collaborative overseas ventures.
Tang Binghua, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment and Economic and Trade Department of the Hunan Provincial National Development and Reform Commission, addressed the questions raised by various enterprises and provided targeted advice. He emphasized the importance of risk prevention and the need for thorough preliminary research preparation before businesses venture into overseas markets.
Hu Songqiang, Director of the Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, shared policies that support enterprises expanding overseas and analyzed strategies for the new energy, biopharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries. He provided new ideas and directions for enterprises to enter international markets. Hu emphasized that the government will continue to support non-public enterprises in “going global” by providing policy guidance, information sharing, and legal protection services, ensuring a safe journey for businesses venturing abroad.
